Nature Calls: Shapeshifting

HEY THERE Bloggers!
Welcome to my 1st ever post! I'm honored you chose to read my blog and hope you find it quite helpful. Lets get started.

The Druid

The Druid is an elite class in the World of Warcraft which has the unique capabilities of SHAPESHIFTING into animals and creatures.
When a Druid shapeshifts into an animal, it gains special traits similar to other classes.

BEAR form- attained at level 10 from a quest. When the Druid shapeshifts into Bear form, its Stamina is increased by %25 adding a nice amount of overall health changing the Druid into a Warrior type class. Bear form is designed for tanks/off tanks because of the amount of damage it can take.

CAT form (kitty form as I like to call it)- attained at level 20 from the class trainer. When in Cat form, the Druid takes on abilities similar to those of a Rogue. The ability to Stealth (become invisible) is a main aspect of Cat form allowing the Druid to deal a large amount of damage fairly quickly (if you choose to go Feral spec that is)

Aquatic Form/Seal form- attained at level 16 from a quite grueling quest (I suggest Thottbotting it because it is slightly confusing). The ability to breathe underwater and swim quickly are the main characteristics of Aquatic Form. You are able to fight in this form, but only melee attacks are possible.

Travel Form/Cheetah form- attained at level 30 from the class trainer. Travel form shapeshifts the Druid into a Cheetah, increasing movement speed by an admirable 40%. Its no epic mount but extremely useful for escaping mobs who are about to dig your grave.

Dire Bear Form- The Dire Bear is the same as regular Bear form EXCEPT for the addition of a 400% armor increase. Feral tank druids will find this boost extra helpful when dealing with large mobs or powerful bosses.

Moonkin Form (Balance Spec ONLY)- Moonkin/Oomkin/Boomkin/Doomkin form is specifically for those Druids who go Balance. As a Balance Druid, the Moonkin form is extremely useful when in groups for instances or raids. The 400% armor increase, similar to Dire Bear form, allows the Druid to be able to take a hit and be left standing. This separates other casters (Mage, Warlock, Priest) from the Balance Druid because of the amount of damage this casting form can take. Another plus to the Moonkin form is the Moonkin Aura. Moonkin Aura adds on a 5% SPELL crit chance to all party members within 30 yards of the Druid. (Also the Moonkin dance is killer)

Tree of Life form- The Tree of Life form is available only to Druids who choose to go Restoration. Tree of Life form gives the Druid a +25% on all healing spells which makes it neck and neck with Priest healers. Resto. Druid healers are possibly better healers than some Priests because of their Dotting up spells AND instant heals. Dot spells heal the target a large amount over time which gives the Druid time to think about his/her next move.

The Druid is a formidable class perfect for those of you WoWers just starting out with your first character. The ability to take on other classes is an amazing way to learn about other classes and understand their cans and cannots. Options to be a Healer, Tank, Rogue, Caster, or a little bit of each makes the Druid a wonderfully fun class to play.

Thank You for reading my post, I hope you've found it helpful. Next post will be discussing the Druid Specs such as FERAL, BALANCE, and RESTORATION.

WAFFULZ out!
